The Science Gate product line is developed by Ciencia Viva, Inc. - a 501 (c) (3) nonprofit devoted to developing inquiry-based science materials for teachers and students. The books, games and activity kits include detailed, teacher-friendly curriculum guides. All materials address state and national science content standards. They embed inquiry in all activities and are written in a dual-language (English/Spanish) format, in order to have the broadest possible reach and impact.

Our over-arching goal is to develop science curriculum materials that will close the widely disparate levels of achievement that occur in impoverished communities, both urban and rural.
